Q. "What is a NON INVASIVE face
lift?"
A. Through a highly advanced micro-current
technology, which is 100% safe, a painless low level
electrical impulse is used to re-program the muscles back
into shape. This in turn supports the facial skin giving you
immediate results after just one treatment. The facial contours
are uplifted and toned and the complexion is left glowing.
|
|
Q. "What is MICRO-CURRENT technology
about?"
A. Micro-current is an
electro-stimulator which sends a micro-current through the skin
and muscle via two hand held probes. This produces a firming
and lifting effect. It also reduces puffiness and dark circles
from around the eyes. Micro-current is safe, and many consider
the process to be soothing and extremely relaxing.
|
|
Q. "Why isn't my skin like it
used to be?"
A. As we get older our
blood circulation slows down resulting in a lack of nutrients
and stimulation to the muscle. The muscle begins to weaken and
gravity will encourage it to drop.
|
|
Q. "How can micro-current help"
A. Micro-current will
speed up the circulation and not only feed and stimulate the
muscle but shorten it, back to its original tone.
This technique has been used in the medical profession for
over 30 years, it is completely painless and totally safe --
in fact it is good for you!
|
|
Q. "Are there any other benefits?"
A. Our lymphatic drainage
stimulates circulation in the lower layers of connective tissue
providing increased nourishment to the epidermis. By extension,
this detoxifies by activating the lymphatic system, ridding the
tissue of toxic waste so reducing puffiness and fluid retention.
Micro-current will leave a clearer, fresher, smoother texture
to the skin.

Q. "What are the techniques
used in a NON INVASIVE face lift?"
A. There are three techniques
used in this treatment:
1. E.T.R. (Enhanced Tissue repair):
E.T.R. is the basis of the NON SURGICAL FACE LIFT. The technique
stimulates and enhances the spindle cells which are essential
to the maintenance of the muscles tone. This technique has a
strong stimulating effect on the tissues, increasing blood circulation,
which may be evident by a flushed appearance in the skin. E.T.R.
is done on the face and neck at every treatment.
2. The Golgi Tendon Technique:
This technique involves muscle contraction and extension by stimulating
the origin and insertion of the muscle body with the Golgi apparatus.
This technique is applied to the NON SURGICAL FACE LIFT to obtain
a shortening or lengthening of the muscles using microampere
electrical stimulation.
3. The Feathering Technique:
This technique provides superficial stimulation to the skin for
over all toning and softening of wrinkles and lines. The entire
face and neck is feathered at every treatment in the series.

Q. "What results can one expect?"
A. According to Dr. Howard
Bezoza, a New York City physician, the machine strengthens the
facial skin, lifts sagging muscles and rejuvenates the skin's
elasticity.
"Skin ages because it loses it's elasticity and moisture",
explains Bezoza. "This device is phenomenal in how it
returns your skin to it's youthful appearance!" The
doctor says he has never seen tissue improve like this before.
"You can actually see the improvement right before your
eyes", he says.

|
Q. "What are some of the benefits

skin * Nourishes the skin * Redefines facial contours.

Q. "What if one smokes?"
A. Factors that influence
the success of the treatment are smoking, alcohol consumption,
sun exposure, any medications and age. An accurate attempt must
also be made to determine any stress factors in one's lifestyle
as this will play an important role in providing for maintenance
programs to retain the youthful appearance achieved through the
series.
|
|
Q. "How old or young should
one be to start treatments?"
A. At the age of 25 facial
muscles start to fall. The earlier one starts treatment the more
effective the treatment is in keeping a lifelong youthful appearance.
|
|
Q. "How long do the treatments
last?"
A. It takes a series of
12 one hour treatments to realize maximum results. To maintain
results you and your practitioner must determine a maintenance
program for continued improvement. To simply maintain your results,
no less than one maintenance treatment a month is necessary.
|
|
Q. "What happens if one stops
maintenance treatments?"
A. One will simply age
normally.
|
|
Q. "Can one stop and restart
maintenance treatments?"
A. Yes.
|
|
Q. "Is this an ongoing treatment?"
A. Yes it is an ongoing
commitment. Treatment is very relaxing to the nervous system
and healing as well. The treatment has been designed to eliminate
pain by healing nerves and increasing blood circulation. It helps
and heals much more than meets the eye.
|
|
Q. "What is the ideal situation
for treatment?"
A. To begin with, 2 times
a week (no less than 1 time a week) for 12 treatments consecutively.
Maintenance is usually 1 time per week, or 2 times a month ideally.
